LVMH-backed fund hunts for emerging Asian brands

A $650-million private equity fund backed by the world's top luxury retailer LVMH is on the prowl for emerging Asian brands in the hope of transforming them into global names.

This is great news for all us upcoming Asian brands.  To have LVMH interested in this area, not just as a market but a source of brands gives a big boost to our industry.  This proves that Made-in-China or Designed-in-China does not have to be synonymous with poor quality.
